Food Drive and Book collection

Do you still need hours to complete your NHS requirements?  Do you enjoy volunteering to help your community?

Service is an important part of the RHS culture & to celebrate that strong tradition as part of the Senior Class party we are excited to announce opportunities to give back to our community. There will be two events, benefiting three groups (360 Communities, The Free Book Buggie& RHS):

Event #1: April 7-9 & 11 (Thursday- Saturday & Monday)

– Benefits: food drive for 360 Communities & gently used book collection (books for ages 0 – young adult needed) for The Free Book Buggie (https://thefreebookbuggie.org)

Schedule: 

 April 7-8 collection boxes near school entrances, bring your items each day to school for drop off. Volunteer opportunities for end of school day.

 April 9 collection event in RHS parking lot 9a -12p. Volunteers needed to work event + vehicles to load collection items for drop off and on Monday.  

 April 11 volunteers needed to assist with drop off of collected food at 360 Communities

Event #2: April 23 (Saturday) in celebration of Earth Day

– Benefits: spring clean up of RHS grounds & athletic areas

– Schedule: 9a – 12p meet near RHS front entrance to check in & receive area to clean up

– What to bring: work gloves & garbage bags
